Why I built this
I wanted an AI that lived on my machine. Not a tab. Not a chatbot in someone else’s browser. Something that could see what I was working on, take actions, and stop pretending it was a conversation.
Everything in Cyra runs locally on your Mac. Your files stay on your disk. Your conversations stay in your sandbox. The only thing that leaves is the message you send to Claude — same as every chat app you already use, except now you own the loop.
It’s early access on purpose. The people who try it now shape what it becomes.

Runs on your Mac
Native macOS app. Conversations, files, and project memory all live on your disk. No server-side storage of your work.
